@@ Note the difference in treatment between stdio.h, a library header,
@@ and ab.h, a project header.  stdio.h has numerous declarations not
@@ used by this application but these are not remarked upon.
@@ On the other hand the declarations not used by the project header
@@ ab.h are reported upon extensively.
